Au d\u00e9part elle avait eu un dipl\u00f4me de c\u00e9ramiste \u00e0 l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Rhode Island et a g\u00e9r\u00e9 sa propre entreprise de c\u00e9ramique \u00e0 Los Angeles pendant\u00a0 18 ans. C&rsquo;est alors qu&rsquo;elle d\u00e9m\u00e9nagea au Nouveau Mexique\u00a0 pour y \u00e9lever son fils.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Betty Busby ne fait de fait pas de patchwork \u00e0 proprement parler. Elle aime le tissu parce qu&rsquo;elle estime qu&rsquo;il se pr\u00eate \u00e0 de nombreuses variations et elle utilise\u00a0 diverses textures: soie, coton, synth\u00e9tique.\u00a0 Mais elle est d&rsquo;abord un peintre qui se sert\u00a0 essentiellement de peinture sur tissu et de\u00a0 teinture, le matelassage machine \u00e9tant l\u00e0 pour cr\u00e9er d&rsquo;autres motifs qui compl\u00e8tent le design.
